What about load shedding?

selfPV grid-tied solar systems save you money. (Backup not included.)

The PV Direct selfPV plug-and-play grid-tied solar systems are designed to save you money on your electricity bill month-by-month and year-by-year. They do not provide backup power during load shedding, as per NRS 097-2-1 requirement. You can however use your selfPV solar system with any 3rd party portable battery systems to safely power all your electronic devices and important loads during load shedding.
